‘Winner Sydney Design Awards 2014 for best retail experience’
‘A dramatic entry into the market, with a theatrical showpiece based on a disco mirrorball, catching attention in its luxe location’
The Great Indoor’s imaginative and bold vision for North American eyewear and contacts giant Clearly’s first bricks and mortar store, built brand loyalty and reflected the luxe location under Sydney’s The Ivy.
Based on customer insight, the experience required the brand to shift focus from a medical experience to a fashion-based experience with the challenge to appeal to both daytime office workers and nighttime party-goers.
The team created a theatrical visual merchandising showpiece in the form a 2.5-metre-high rotating mirror ball and a night lights display visible from George Street.
The store has achieved great media coverage, incredibly positive consumer feedback, and regularly draws crowds of people to the windows who are eager to watch the spectacular night time sound and lights show.
This project was completed by The Great Indoors.
